Heather Anacki is an ASHA certified pediatric speech language pathologist who earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and her Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh. She has enjoyed working with children and their families since 1997. She has practiced in a variety of pediatric settings including early intervention, public schools and a pediatric clinic. She values pairing speech language therapy with “real life” therapy activities for families to integrate into their daily lives. Heather’s experience treating children with Autism Spectrum Disorder is considerable, including toddlers through adolescents with mild to profound communication impairments. She has presented on speech and language topics locally and at the state level. Heather received the American Speech Language Hearing Association’s ACE Award in 2014.
