Linda Bandini, PhD, RD is an Associate Professor in Pediatrics at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and Clinical Professor in the Department of Health Sciences at Boston University where she teaches in the graduate nutrition program. Her research is focused on health promotion for youth with developmental disabilities. She is the Director of Nutrition for the UMMS-Shriver Center LEND program where she oversees the development of a health promotion curriculum for adolescents and young adults with IDD and supervises nutrition students in experiential learning with this population. Dr. Bandini is the Director and Principal Investigator of the MCHB-funded Healthy Weight Research Network for children with autism and developmental disabilities (HWRN), which is funded by the Maternal Child Health Bureau.
