Suzie Norton

Suzie Norton is a special education teacher at Pace High School. She has been teaching for 13 years and this year marks her tenth at Pace High School. She has taught a variety of students with varying ability levels and has worked with early intervention for several years. In addition, she taught non-verbal young adults with autism in a communication, behavior, social/emotional and academic (CBSA) setting. She currently teaches social skills to students with Asperger’s syndrome and works with general education teachers through direct services and professional development to help create a seamless inclusion model.
Suzie received her B.A. in early childhood special education from Auburn University-Montgomery. She also received her M.A. in special education K-12 from the University of West Florida.
