Dr. Sheehan has a background in education and psychology, with specific training and expertise in applied behavior analysis and developmental psychology. She has worked in schools, homes, community settings, and clinical treatment centers for children with behavior disorders secondary to autism and related developmental disorders for over 15 years. Currently, Dr. Sheehan is a Clinical Supervisor at the Unicorn Children’s Foundation Clinics at the Mailman Segal Center for Human Development of Nova Southeastern University. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with training and experience in implementing strategies to promote skill acquisition, decrease challenging behaviors, and train staff and caregivers to implement evidence-based interventions.
